Gorey Relief Road (Ballytegan Avenue)

Transport Insights’ team are delighted to be providing support to Wexford County Council as part of a Fehily Timoney & Company led Technical Consultancy Services project for the Gorey Relief Road (Ballytegan Avenue). The project relates to Stage (i) Preliminary Design and Development Consent Process, with the proposed scheme comprising a vehicular and active travel link from Ballytegan Road to the R772 Arklow Road, including a new bridge over the Dublin-Rosslare Railway Line. Official signing of contracts took place towards the end of January 2024.

Transport Insights support to the project shall include baseline data collection and analysis, junction optioneering, traffic impact analysis and modelling. Transport Insights shall also provide transport scheme appraisal services (in line with DfT’s Transport Appraisal Framework (TAF)) to the project and support development of the Preliminary Business Case.
