Mithali Jadhav

Mithali is a Senior Consultant with Transport Insights, having joined the team in July 2026. She has over seven years of experience in strategic transport modelling, planning and big data analytics.

She holds a degree in Urban and Regional Planning (2017) and a postgraduate degree in Transportation Engineering (2019). Before joining Transport Insights, Mithali spent seven years at AECOM and AtkinsRéalis, specialising in strategic transport modelling across a range of UK projects, working with clients and stakeholders on regional model build and infrastructure improvement schemes.

Her expertise includes:

• Development of Variable Demand Models
• Development of Highway and Public Transport models using SATURN and VISUM
• Development of bespoke modelling tools
• Big data analytics using Python, spanning mobile network data, UK Census 2022, National Travel Survey and traffic data
• Leading analysis and interpretation of large datasets to inform scheme design and appraisal
• Testing the impacts of highway and public transport improvement schemes
• Variable demand model runs and response analysis
• Technical reporting and presentations
• Data visualisation using GIS and Python
