Service: Data Analytics

Transport planning decision making is increasingly reliant on a robust evidence base. We utilise existing data sets where possible, supplementing these as needed with bespoke data collection to provide an enhanced understanding of travel demand, user behaviour and accessibility characteristics.

Our data analytics skill set spans a broad range of areas including:

  • socio-economic data analysis (e.g. CSO, POWSCAR)
  • harnessing of emerging data sources (e.g. Big Data, ANPRs)
  • visualisation of outputs using GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS), and spatial/ accessibility analytics tools (e.g. ATOS, PTAL)
  • project-specific data specification, collection and analysis
