Northwest Business Park Bus Depot

Fingal County Council has recently granted planning permission to Go-Ahead Transport Services (Dublin) Limited for a proposed bus depot facility at Northwest Business Park, Ballycoolin, Dublin 15. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary planning and design team, including Tom Phillips + Associates, Arthur Gibney & Partners and Waterman Moylan, Transport Insights provided transport consultancy support in advancing the change of use planning application, including provision of preliminary transport engineering design advice, traffic modelling, and preparation of a Traffic and Transport Assessment (TTA) and Mobility Management Plan Report. 

The proposed depot, when completed, shall accommodate ca. 200 no. buses operating within Go Ahead’s expanded bus fleet within the Greater Dublin Area, in addition to ancillary washing, filling, and servicing/ maintenance facilities.
