Transport Insights appointed to advise on proposed National Children’s Hospital

Transport Insights has recently been commissioned by the Jack and Jill Foundation to provide advice and support in relation to the proposed National Children’s Hospital development at St. James’s Hospital Campus in Dublin 8.

Working alongside other members of the client team, Transport Insights’ support has built upon our expertise in development planning, behavioural change, public transport, parking management and traffic modelling. It has represented a unique opportunity for our team to engage in the planning process for this strategically important hospital development on behalf of Jack and Jill Foundation, the highly respected national children’s charity.

While the Board of Jack and Jill has for some considerable time had major reservations in relation to the selection of the St. James’s Hospital Campus as the site for the National Children’s Hospital, Transport Insights’ comprehensive evidence base review of the application and supplemental impact analysis has reinforced and clearly articulated traffic and transport related concerns.
