We are seeking to recruit a Graduate Transport Planner/ Modeller with a strong interest in developing transport planning and modelling skills within a consultancy environment.
The candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, willing to take responsibility, and comfortable working as part of a team. This position will provide an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to build their technical and professional expertise in the transport planning domain. Person Specification
Qualifications
- A Bachelor Degree in Geography, Engineering, Economics or similar (essential)
- A Masters level qualification in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering or equivalent (desirable).
Experience
- A proven track record of self-management and delivery of technical assignments.
Skills
Technical skills:
- Keen interest in transport planning and modelling
- Strong analytical (including MS Excel and GIS) and numeracy skills, with an eye for detail
- Good problem-solving skills.
Communication skills:
- Excellent command of the English language
- An ability to communicate technical issues effectively and clearly
- Clear, accurate and concise report-writing skills.
Leadership skills:
- Strong work ethic and a determination to achieve goals
- Honesty and integrity
- Self-awareness.
Additional Requirements:
- Full clean Irish driving license (desirable).
