Conor O’Brien

Conor is a Graduate Transport Planner with Transport Insights. He completed a BSc in Geography and Politics from UCD in 2023, followed by an MSc in Geographic Information Science from TUD in 2025. His academic background provides a strong foundation in spatial analysis, data-driven planning, and sustainable transport solutions.

During his MSc, Conor focused his dissertation on the proposed railway line to Navan, using GIS tools to analyse population growth, land use changes and predicted transport usage. His work demonstrated a practical understanding of how spatial data can inform long-term infrastructure planning.

Conor brings particular skills in GIS, spatial modelling, and data visualisation, with a strong interest in sustainable urban development and transport planning.
