Cillian O’Reilly

BA, MSc, MTPS

Cillian is an Associate Director with Transport Insights. Cillian’s skills lie in his extensive experience obtained from leading in a diverse range of appointments including transport planning (for private and public clients), public interaction/ exhibitions, project appraisal, transport design support and project management.

Cillian graduated from University College Dublin in 2009 with an honours BA degree in Geography, Planning and Environmental Policy. Following on from this, he obtained a MSc in Transport and Planning from Cardiff University.

Cillian has been working with Transport Insights since 2020. Before this, he worked as a transport planner in England for a number of years as well as some time working in Australia. His key experience includes:

• Traffic and transport assessments
• Various transport reports (e.g. FIR Response, DSP, CTMP, CPMP, MMP, etc.)
• Client relationship management
• Economic Project Appraisal (TAF, NTA & TII PAG)
• Stakeholder and public engagement
• Advise, develop and manage active travel improvement schemes
• Car parking capacity audit;
• Traffic engineering design and management
• Traffic modelling
